Details of the Job/Internship

WNS is hiring Contract Lawyer for their office in Mumbai with experience of USA/UK laws related to financial services.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, & draft a wide range of contracts & agreements, including but not limited to vendor contracts, service agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), & other legal documents.
• Engage in negotiations with external parties to ensure the best interests of the company are represented while maintaining positive business relationships.
• Ensure that all contracts & agreements adhere to applicable laws, regulations, & company policies.
• Identify & assess potential legal risks associated with contracts & provide proactive solutions to mitigate such risks.
• Develop & maintain a contract management system to monitor contract status, key milestones, & renewals.
• Offer legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, potential risks, & legal implications.
• Stay updated with relevant legal developments & precedents to enhance legal knowledge & ensure best practices in contract law.
• Work closely with the legal team and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and legal projects.
• Develop & maintain a contract management system to monitor contract status, key milestones, & renewals.
• Offer legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, potential risks, & legal implications.
• Stay updated with relevant legal developments & precedents to enhance legal knowledge & ensure best practices in contract law.
• Work closely with the legal team and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and legal projects.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency & effectiveness of contract management processes.

Eligibility

• Experience with UK/USA Laws related to financial services.
