Details of the Job/Internship
Hitachi Energy is hiring a Contract Manager to support its Transformer Business in Vadodara. The role involves end-to-end contract management from preparation to execution, while collaborating with Sales, Supply Chain, and Project Execution teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain a repository of project contract documents.
- Identify and map contractual obligations in coordination with project management.
- Provide advance reminders and assess readiness for contractual obligations.
- Monitor performance of contractual milestones and invoicing/payment process.
- Support dispute resolution, change orders, and claims.
- Advise on transactional risks and contractual issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Eligibility
- Degree in Law.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as legal counsel or contract manager.
- Experience in large-value projects (e.g. power, oil & gas, industrial, infrastructure).
- Experience in contract negotiation, change and claim management, and legal risk assessment.
- Ability to work in international, multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
