Details of the Job/Internship

Lactalis India is hiring a Contracts Manager / Senior Manager – Legal & Contracts with 8-12 years of experience to oversee, draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts within the dairy sector.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse contracts including B2B, rental, logistics, warehouse, supply, service, cross-border trade, manpower, NDAs, authorization letters, and termination notices.
• Lead negotiations with vendors, service providers, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate contract execution, approvals, and compliance monitoring.
• Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals and terminations.
• Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and manage CLM tools, digital signing platforms, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contracts with business needs.
• Act as the single point of contact for stakeholders on contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with Indian laws, dairy industry regulations, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, escalate key concerns, and support dispute resolution.
• Prepare dashboards and reports on contract status, performance, and compliance.
• Continuously improve contract management processes, tools, templates, and negotiation strategies.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law.
• 8-12 years of contract management experience, preferably in FMCG, Dairy, or Food industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial agreements, and regulatory frameworks (domestic & international).
• Proven expertise in independently drafting, negotiating, and closing complex contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CLM tools preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.

Salary/Stipend
