Details of the Job/Internship

Meril is hiring for the position of Contract Manager with 5-10 years of experience to join their office in Vapi, Gujarat. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex agreements, including:
• Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs)
• Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDAs)
• Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Licensing, Consulting, and Collaboration Agreements
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and global regulatory frameworks (e.g., ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA).
• Act as a liaison between legal counsel, investigators, sponsors, CROs, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage and track contract lifecycles including approvals, renewals, amendments, and change orders.
• Maintain up-to-date contract templates, standard terms, and legal guidelines in alignment with international best practices.
• Identify and mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks.
• Provide support during audits, inspections, and due diligence exercises.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of proven experience in contract management within CROs, biologics, or biotech environments.
• Solid understanding of clinical development processes and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional skills in legal writing, contract negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in contract management systems (e.g., Medidata, Veeva Vault, or equivalent platforms).
