Details of the Job/Internship
Muthoot Fincorp Ltd is hiring a Legal Contract Manager with experience of 5 to 8 years to join their office in Greater Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and closing both vendor and customer (B2B and B2C) agreements, SoW, Letter Agreements, addenda, T&Cs, etc as a company and regulatory policy.
- Review of the transactional documents.
- Drafting and review of Loan documents and security (NCD) agreements.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the portfolio of service contracts and performance against the business case.
- Risk Assessment of the agreements through deviation statement or gap analysis.
- Ensuring all contract details align with country and local laws, as well as cooperate guidelines, policies, objectives, and goals. Expanding the system ensures global focus.
- Track risk and opportunity across the portfolio of contracts;
- Ensure appropriate contractual requirements flow-down mechanisms are deployed with the business;
- Monitor, analyze, report, and action contract performance metrics, contract risks, and penalties
- Draft and implement tools, processes, and templates including precedent contracts;
- Develop cross-functional training and share best practices;
- Lead or input to the design and development of new service contracts offerings and standardization of service agreements;
- Support specific commercial and contract projects with customers as identified;
- Maintaining a repository of the agreements and MIS Reporting;
- Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders;
- Review and approve marketing materials from a legal perspective.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law with a basic understanding of contract and business law.
- PQE – 5 to 8 Years in contract management and advisory roles.
