Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Legal Specialist for a full-time, onsite role in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to support client decisions within a specific legal concentration.
- Develop risk profiles addressing complex specialty law matters.
- Analyze, identify, and resolve complex legal issues within a specialty area.
- Represent HPE in regulatory, customer, supplier, partner, or competitor interactions.
- Translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable communications for stakeholders.
- Build expertise in a specific legal concentration and share knowledge with team members.
Eligibility
- Advanced university degree in law (LLB or JD); additional advanced degrees relevant to the specialty are preferred.
- Must meet local legal licensing requirements.
- Typically 4–6 years of commercial legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
- Well-developed knowledge in a specific legal concentration, with in-depth expertise in sub-areas.
- Competence in negotiating or advising on legal and business matters within the specialty.
- Strong English communication skills to business standard preferred.
- Ability to handle complex and diverse legal problems with independent judgment.
