Details of the Job/Internship
ABB is hiring a contract specialist to join them in Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Supports the Contract Manager(s), who has overall responsibility for Contract Management services/support to the local divisions/Hubs and BLs.
- Works with Contract Manager(s) / Project Managers to ensure that main contract requirements and appropriate contract flow-downs for purchase orders and subcontracts are achieved, including assisting with contractual and commercial aspects of project close-out.
- Works with Contract Manager(s) to prepare contractual and commercial correspondence.
- Assists Contract Manager(s) / Project Managers to develop and prepare project change/variation proposals for the client.
- As directed, supports global contract management initiatives.
Eligibility
- A Minimum 5 + Yrs of experience and has experience / background in contract management, legal and/or construction contracting.
- Contractual and commercial background knowledge to ensure contract compliance, overall commercial integrity, and delivery.
- Good background and knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction project management.
- Ability to multi-task, with excellent organizational and time management skills to achieve project goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
