Details of the Job/Internship
Baker Tilly US is hiring a Contract Specialist with experience of minimum 1 year to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review engagement agreements, NDAs, business associate agreements, and data processing agreements.
- Manage RFP and contractual deadlines by establishing project priorities.
- Support legal compliance initiatives and improve contract review processes.
- Identify legal risk issues and propose mitigation plans for routine risks.
- Support U.S. and India teams on projects concerning firm policies and risk management.
- Serve as a legal resource for special projects and requests for proposals.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with an emphasis on contract drafting.
- Knowledge of U.S. law and highly developed writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work in cross-cultural teams, preferably within a global service center.
- Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Understanding of accounting principles or prior experience with US-based accounting firms is a plus.
