Details of the Job/Internship

DISCO is hiring a Contract Specialist with experience of PQE: 3-5+ years to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Contract Development and Negotiation: Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners. Ensures contracts are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Monitors compliance with contract terms and applicable laws and regulations. Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support: Works closely with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to facilitate contract execution and compliance. Provides expert guidance on contract-related inquiries and issues.
• Database Management: Maintains an organized and accurate contract management database. Ensures timely renewals, amendments, and terminations of contracts.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracks contract performance metrics and reports on compliance and effectiveness. Addresses and resolves any disputes or performance issues that arise.

Eligibility

• With 3-5+ years of experience in contract management or a similar role.
• Have a law degree from a recognized Indian university or equivalent.
• Possess a strong understanding of software and technology contracting and negotiating customer contracts.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of contract law and regulations.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in contract management software (e.g., IronClad, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
• 3+ years of commercial and privacy contracting experience under United Kingdom, European, United States, and APAC laws at a recognized law firm or technology company.
