Lumen Technologies is hiring for the position of Contract Specialist with 2-8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and renewing contracts.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring alignment with business strategies and compliance standards.
- Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and records repositories to support audits and reporting.
Strategic Sourcing and Procurement:
- Execute sourcing projects (RFX) by collaborating with internal stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate supplier responses.
- Drive consistency in procurement policies, processes, and tools to optimize operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Assist in implementing procurement frameworks within the COE to streamline sourcing activities.
Risk Management and Mitigation:
- Assess potential liabilities, performance issues, and risks associated with contracts.
- Proactively address escalation points during contract discussions and negotiations.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business, finance, and procurement teams to align contractual terms with organizational goals.
- Facilitate contract-related discussions, providing guidance on best practices and potential areas of concern.
Process Improvement and Standardization:
- Develop and implement standardized procurement templates, tools, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency.
Eligibility
- Experience: 2-10 years in sourcing, procurement, and contract management.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic sourcing and contract negotiation capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, CLM, and E-Procurement systems.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adaptability to evolving business needs and priorities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Work Requirements: Flexibility to work night shifts to align with North America business hours.
