Details of the Job/Internship
Qualcomm is looking for a candidate for the position of Contracts Specialist to join them at their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Leads others to draft, negotiate, and administer various types of complex contracts and amendments based on deep understanding of contracts administration procedures, structure, and guidelines.
- Manages complex contracts to ensure agreements are fully executed according to terms.
- Leads research, analysis, and interpretation of contracts to develop insights that support business goals based on specialized knowledge of contract and legal principles; helps junior team members do the same.
- Leverages an in-depth understanding of Qualcomm's policies and positions related to contracts to share information with internal and external parties.
- Analyzes and provides high-quality responses to complex requests for information in a timely manner, ensuring information is accurate and sufficient.
- Engages key internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, share updates, and address issues and risks.
- Develops new and innovative ways to accomplish work and improve existing methods to increase efficiencies across teams.
- Analyzes needs and requirements for complex contracts to determine time and resources required.
- Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for small to mid-sized projects.
- Makes sound, ethical, and timely decisions across situations and helps others make decisions.
Eligibility
- Associate's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field and 6+ years of Contract Administration experience or related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of Contract Administration experience
- Certification in legal, contracts, or related areas.
- 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- 1+ year in a leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).
