Details of the Job/Internship

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience in contract management, litigation, and team leadership to support its legal functions and subsidiaries in the region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support legal functions of TCS and its subsidiaries within the region with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Review and negotiate customer and vendor contracts, with experience in leading a team of at least two members.
• Handle IT outsourcing contracts, NDAs, software license agreements, subcontracts, MOUs, and related documents.
• Manage and represent the company in suits, criminal proceedings, employment-related litigation, and arbitration matters.
• Assist in due diligence, title searches, and coordinate with external counsels/advocates for review and negotiation of lease agreements, license agreements, and sale deeds.

Eligibility

• Strong knowledge of contract laws.
• Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various legal documents.
• Prior experience leading a small legal team.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
