Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Contract Specialist to support the legal functions of TCS and its subsidiaries in the region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Supporting legal functions for TCS and its subsidiaries.
- Reviewing and negotiating customer and vendor contracts.
- Leading a team of at least two members.
- Handling IT outsourcing contracts and related documents.
- Managing litigation, criminal proceedings, employment matters, and arbitration.
- Coordinating with external counsel on due diligence and title search.
- Reviewing and negotiating lease agreements, licence agreements, and sale deeds.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of contract laws.
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating customer and vendor contracts.
- Experience working on IT outsourcing contracts, NDAs, software licence agreements, subcontracts, MOUs, and related documents is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in prosecuting and defending suits, criminal proceedings, employment-related litigation, and arbitration matters.
- Experience coordinating with external counsel for due diligence or title search of immovable property.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating lease agreements, licence agreements, or sale deeds.
