Details of the Job/Internship
The Law Offices of Kushan Chakraborty (LoKC) is hiring for the position of Contracts Counsel with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various commercial and corporate contracts.
- Provide clear, actionable legal advice on contractual terms and compliance issues.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments to ensure contractual alignment.
- Respond to contract-related queries from internal stakeholders.
- Support limited litigation mandates as assigned.
- Conduct legal research and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.
- Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM is an added advantage.
- Strong foundation in contract law and regulatory compliance.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in legal research with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as in a team.
