Norstella is hiring for the position of Contracts Manager with 7-10 years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead high-value negotiations for complex commercial contracts with minimal oversight.
- Advise senior stakeholders on legal and commercial risks, balancing compliance with business objectives.
- Oversee contract lifecycle management, ensuring contracts are executed, tracked, renewed, and compliant with policies and regulations.
- Train and mentor internal teams on negotiation strategies, risk management, and compliance.
- Proactively identify risks in contractual terms and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate across departments with Legal Counsel, General Counsel, and senior leadership to develop best practices and internal policies.
- Continuously optimize processes to accelerate contract cycles and improve compliance standards.
- Manage dispute resolution strategies to safeguard company interests while maintaining strong business relationships.
- Stay up to date on legal, regulatory, and industry developments to ensure contract soundness.
- Provide reporting and insights on contractual risks, opportunities, and performance metrics to leadership.
Eligibility
- A Law, Business, or related degree (Advanced Law degree strongly preferred).
- 7–10 years’ experience in corporate legal environments, with expertise in commercial contract negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, licensing, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and advanced reporting tools.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of US or UK law (required).
- Full professional proficiency in English (official certification such as ACTFL or CEFR B2+ preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage large portfolios under tight deadlines.
- Commercial mindset, offering practical solutions that align with business goals.
