Details of the Job/Internship
Norstella is hiring a Contracts Manager with 7–10 years of experience to join their team in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage highly complex commercial negotiations for sales, vendors, and strategic partnerships with minimal oversight.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle (CLM) from initial drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.
- Serve as a strategic legal advisor to business leaders on issues impacting profitability, growth, and risk.
- Design and deliver training programs on negotiation strategies and compliance for internal sales and procurement teams.
- Proactively identify contractual risks and develop mitigation protocols in collaboration with senior executives.
- Drive process innovation to accelerate contract cycles and enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead the resolution of complex contractual disputes to protect company interests while maintaining business relationships.
- Ensure all contracts comply with international regulations and internal corporate strategies.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on contractual performance metrics and risks to senior leadership.
Eligibility
- Degree in Law, Business, or a related field (Advanced Law degree like LLM is strongly preferred).
- 7–10 years of experience in a complex corporate legal environment or a global LPO.
- Requirement: In-depth understanding and expertise in United States or United Kingdom Law.
- Proven track record in negotiating high-value commercial contracts and licensing agreements.
- Full professional proficiency in English (CEFR B2/Advanced or higher preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools.
- Ability to work EST hours (6:00 PM IST to 3:00 AM IST) and handle high-pressure deadlines.
