Details of the Job/Internship
Juniper Networks is hiring for the position of Contracts Specialist 3 with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Contract Management:
- Review, draft, and coordinate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), GTM agreements, engineering letters, and inbound agreements.
- Ensure alignment with Juniper’s contracting policies and guidelines.
- Manage contract lifecycles using ThinkSmart (TAP) and maintain accurate status reports.
- Apply Juniper’s contracting philosophy to evaluate confidentiality agreements and escalate redlines as necessary.
2. Document Processing and Recordkeeping:
- Support the global signature process for various legal documents using DocuSign.
- Ensure executed contracts are accurately documented and stored on SharePoint sites.
- Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
3. System Implementation and Transition Support:
- Assist in the transition of signature processes to the new CLMS.
- Participate in training sessions, execute signature processes, and document process impacts.
- Gain proficiency in Juniper’s Contracts Taxonomy and Contract Metadata Dictionary.
4. Compliance and Reporting:
- Monitor changes to Juniper’s authorized signature matrix and apply them effectively.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports for the Senior Contract Specialist using Excel and other data management tools.
- Assist with compliance audits and ad hoc projects as required.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Advanced degree (LLM, JD, MBA) is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and contract management tools (e.g., SharePoint, CLMS).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional recordkeeping and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
