Details of the Job/Internship
Elsevier is hiring a Contracts Specialist with 7–10 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support contract negotiations and management aligned with company and legal policies.
- Collaborate with third-party content providers, Legal, Product, and Operations teams.
- Manage executed contracts and identify new work requirements beyond signed agreements.
- Prepare contracts, renewals, and amendments; ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater operational efficiency.
- Assess and escalate potential business risks and ensure legal compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for contracts and permissions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or equivalent.
- 7–10 years of experience in contract management.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with contract management tools like Conga or Luminance preferred.
