Details of the Job/Internship
Red Hat is hiring a Contract Specialist with 4+ years of experience in contract negotiations to join their Global Legal and Compliance Center of Excellence in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, revise, and negotiate NDAs and other commercial agreements.
- Assist commercial attorneys worldwide on contracts and legal matters.
- Support master software subscription agreements, master services agreements, SoWs, partner agreements, and procurement contracts.
- Educate customers on open source licensing and Red Hat’s subscription model.
- Provide legal support to the global Sales team.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; law degree with experience is a plus.
- 4+ years of professional experience in contract negotiations within technology or software industries.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracting law, IP, and licensing.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Experience with NDAs and revenue/sales contracts preferred.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
