Details of the Job/Internship
Cortex Consultants LLC is hiring a Contracts / Legal Operations Specialist (US Federal) with experience of 4–8 years to join their team in Chennai. This is a full-time, work-from-home (remote) role with virtual interviews only. Immediate to 15 days’ notice period is preferred. The role requires strong experience in US Federal contracting and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), including managing end-to-end contract processes and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting, amending, and redlining contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, BPAs, POs, vendor, and employment agreements.
- Managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle from execution to close-out.
- Ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and federal regulations.
- Supporting contracts for agencies such as NASA, USPS, FDIC, and IRS.
- Identifying contractual risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with finance, legal, procurement, and delivery teams.
- Maintaining contract repositories using CLM tools.
Eligibility
- 4–8 years of experience in US Federal contracting and Contract Lifecycle Management.
- Strong CLM experience.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal regulations.
- Experience in contract review, redlining, and risk assessment.
- Legal drafting and research skills.
- Preferred experience with Big4, Deloitte, or government projects.
- Familiarity with CLM tools such as VantagePoint, Costpoint, OpenText, Ironclad, and DocuSign.
