Details of the Job/Internship
Network18 is hiring a Copyright Manager with 1–3 years of experience to join their team in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage copyright claims, strikes, and takedowns across digital platforms.
- Operate YouTube CMS and Facebook Rights Manager to handle Content ID and rights enforcement.
- Address disputes, clear third-party claims, and coordinate with platform support teams.
- Review content for potential third-party risks and verify proper licensing.
- Liaise with legal teams for DMCA responses and fair use evaluations.
- Develop SOPs and train content teams on copyright compliance.
- Maintain documentation and generate regular reports on copyright-related activities.
Eligibility
- 1–3 years of experience in digital content, copyright, or compliance (preferably in media/digital publishing).
- Understanding of copyright law, licensing, and fair use.
- Familiarity with YouTube Content ID and Facebook Rights Manager.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with legal/platform policy teams is a plus.
