Details of the Job/Internship
Vontier is hiring a Corporate and Compliance Counsel with 7–12 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including tenders, CAMC, SLAs, MSAs, and confidentiality agreements.
- Provide legal and compliance advice regarding business risks and geographical regulations.
- Develop and implement anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies and controls.
- Manage workflows and compliance-related documentation.
- Conduct legal research and provide training on legal issues.
- Manage litigation with support from external counsel.
- Lead third-party integrity programs, including due diligence and red flag management.
- Assist with internal investigations and prepare findings reports.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer from a reputed law school in India.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in both law firm and in-house (global company) preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex business and legal documents.
- Proficient in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
