Details of the Job/Internship

Chandhiok & Mahajan, Advocates and Solicitors, is hiring for the position of Corporate and M&A – Transactions with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Strong grasp of corporate laws including:
• Indian Contract Act, 1872
• Companies Act, 2013
• Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999
• Competition Act, 2002
• SEBI regulations
• RBI regulations
• Dispute resolution mechanisms
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines, including under pressure.
• Up-to-date with recent legal developments and jurisprudence.
• Capable of independently handling transactions with minimal supervision.

Eligibility

• 5–7 years of experience in corporate practice at a reputed law firm(s).
• Solid exposure to M&A, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, corporate commercial transactions, and strategic corporate matters.
• Advisory experience on corporate laws, regulatory/sectoral laws, and compliance-related matters.

Salary/Stipend
