Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring a Senior Associate – Corporate and M&A (Transactions) with experience of 2–4 years to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handling transactional matters including M&A, private equity investments, VC funding, joint ventures, and strategic corporate transactions.
• Advising on corporate laws, regulatory and sectoral laws, and compliance-related matters.
• Managing assignments independently from start to finish, including negotiations.
• Keeping abreast of changes in law and jurisprudence.
• Delivering work within specified timelines, including under tight deadlines.
• Interacting confidently with clients and managing client relationships.
• Training and mentoring junior associates and contributing as a team player.
• Conducting detailed legal research and contributing to knowledge management initiatives.
• Participating in drafting internal and external articles and papers.
• Supporting business development initiatives in line with firm policies and business plans.

Eligibility

• Five-year law degree from a reputed university with a strong academic record.
• 2–4 years of experience in the corporate practice of a reputed law firm.
• Additional qualifications such as LLM, CA, or CS are an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of corporate and commercial laws, including Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI laws, RBI regulations, Competition Act, and related statutes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong analytical ability.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to work ethics.

Salary/Stipend
