Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan is hiring a Principal Associate / Associate Partner with experience of 4–9 years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transactional mandates independently, including M&A, PE investments, VC funding, and joint ventures.
- Provide strategic advisory on corporate, regulatory, and sectoral laws, ensuring full compliance for clients.
- Execute the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence to final negotiations.
- Stay updated on evolving jurisprudence and legislative changes to provide accurate legal guidance.
- Analyze laws and judgments to apply them for practical, client-focused business solutions.
- Train and coach younger associates while managing internal team workflows and quality standards.
- Contribute to the firm’s Knowledge Management (KM) through research, articles, and white papers.
- Support business development initiatives in alignment with reporting partner plans.
Eligibility
- Five-year law degree from a reputed university with a strong academic record.
- 4–9 years of experience in the corporate practice of a well-reputed law firm.
- Mandatory expertise in the Companies Act 2013, FEMA, SEBI, and the Indian Contracts Act.
- Strong understanding of Competition Law, Data Protection, and Labour Laws.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients confidently.
- Added Advantage: Candidates with LLM, CA, or CS qualifications.
