Details of the Job/Internship
Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants is hiring a Corporate Associate with experience of 5 to 7 years to join their office in Abu Dhabi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a range of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, corporate governance, and corporate structuring.
- Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, memoranda of understanding, and company bylaws.
- Participate in negotiations and meetings with clients, stakeholders, and other parties.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated with changes in UAE laws and regulations.
- Maintain client relationships and contribute to the firm’s business development by identifying opportunities for new services, strengthening existing client relationships.
- Provide legal advice on the DIFC and ADGM rules, including licensing, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with senior lawyers and provide support on larger, more complex transactions.
- Maintain client relationships and develop new business.
- Conduct risk assessment reports and legal analysis.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of banking and finance matters as they arise in the course of corporate advisory.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
- Strong expertise in common law (LLM or equivalent is required).
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in general corporate law, with a focus on UAE laws and regulations.
- Solid knowledge in General Corporate, Commercial, M&A, and Transactional Financial matters.
- Strong knowledge of the DIFC and ADGM rules and regulations.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual Arabic and English.
Salary/Stipend
