Details of the Job/Internship
Khaitan & Co. is hiring a Corporate Associate with experience of 4 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Experience in running end-to-end M&A/ PE transactions/ deals including working on complex transactional documents etc.
- Complex structuring.
- At the Associate level, experience in doing diligences (mandatory), and first drafts of transaction documents.
Eligibility
- Exhibit strong practice skills including (a) oral and written advocacy; (b) contract drafting; (c) analysing and communicating technical matters.
- Efficiently manage timelines of assignments and are a multi-tasker able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Solution-oriented approach with proven ability to close transactions independently with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal - with a proven ability to communicate to all "clients" (internal and external).
- Good understanding of a wide range of legal subjects, ability to build on this knowledge, spot issues and bring in specialists as needed.
- Drive for technical superiority by staying abreast of developments in Law and be the go-to subject matter expert.
