Details of the Job/Internship

iSOCRATES Inc. is hiring a Corporate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their Mysuru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage contract lifecycle including preparation, review, redlining, abstraction, summarization, and interpretation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, employment, consulting, capital raising, and board agreements.
• Advise on legal aspects of intellectual property, software, and AI-generated content.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA) and draft DPAs.
• Support board governance, investment instruments (SAFE), and M&A due diligence.
• Maintain legal documentation, templates, compliance checklists, and MIS.
• Research regulatory changes and advise on risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, attend client meetings, and liaise with outside counsel.
• Oversee global commercial clauses, employment templates, and legal document updates.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree or higher in Law, with specialization in Contracts Law, Privacy Law, or International Law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in corporate, employment, and international law.
• Prior experience in BPO, SaaS, or technology-managed services.
• Experience working in or with USA or EU entities preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Required to work late EMEA/ET (USA) timings.
