KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd. is hiring a Corporate Attorney with experience of 5 to 7 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and support legal contract in take process.
- Assist the legal and sales team with responding to prospective customer proposals.
- Upload fully executed contracts to contracts database and tag key provisions of contracts for search functionality.
- Respond to routine corporate customer requests under existing template agreements.
- Summarize existing and new agreements to support attorney-led negotiations for contract renewals.
- Prepare standard template sales agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
- Prepare annual government filings and assist with corporate governance documentation, annual minutes and state required annual reports.
- Conduct due diligence and contract review in connection with acquisitions.
- Assist with management of intellectual property and working with outside counsel of required filings.
Eligibility
- Licensed Attorney with exellent academic credentials.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of practicing legal experience supporting operations for U.S.companies.
- Experience with U.S. corporate, commercial law and/or contract laws is a plus.
- Knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles and regulatory frameworks highly preferred.
- Having basic contract law knowledge and drafting basic commercial agreement skills is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to track large numbers of documents and projects using Excel and Power Point and other applications.
- Reliable attention to detail and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
