Details of the Job/Internship

Nokia India Private Limited is hiring a Corporate & Business Counsel with 7–12 years of experience for its Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal and compliance support for Nokia's Mobile Network accounts in India.
• Offer corporate legal guidance, oversee contract management, and manage tender processes.
• Advise on commercial deals, corporate matters, and potential litigation, acting as the primary legal liaison for customers.
• Identify, report, and escalate legal risks, ensuring strict compliance with telecom regulations.
• Conduct legal training and support business process enhancements in accordance with Nokia's standards.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks, ensuring full adherence to governance and compliance requirements.
• Promote a strong culture of legal compliance and ethics within the organization.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide guidance on legal changes and risks affecting business operations.

Eligibility

• Education: Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Law.
• Experience: 7–12 years as a Legal Counsel in an MNC.
• Expertise:
  • Strong background in ethics and compliance.
  • Extensive experience in B2B commercial legal support (RFPs, public tendering, contract negotiations).
  • Proven ability to manage various litigation matters (commercial, labor, and employment).
• Skills:
  • Excellent English drafting and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and risk management abilities.
• Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Indian labor laws & regulations.
  • Exposure to international labor laws.
