Details of the Job/Internship
Kerner Norland is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel / Legal Manager with experience of 7+ years to support corporate legal and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial documents.
- Support internal legal, company secretarial, and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and management across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead and participate in corporate transactions, M&A activities, and due diligence exercises.
- Conduct legal research and provide advisory support.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
Eligibility
- Attorney-at-Law with 7+ years of experience in corporate and commercial drafting.
- Company Secretarial experience with a valid licence.
- Experience handling public listed companies and shareholder matters is an advantage.
- Experience in M&A transactions, due diligence, and corporate structuring.
- Exposure to investment law, private equity, or tax law is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to mentor junior team members.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Professional, proactive, and collaborative approach.
