Details of the Job/Internship
LDU is hiring a Corporate Commercial Lawyer with 5–7 years of experience to join their remote team. The role involves providing legal support across multiple jurisdictions, including drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate structuring, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements including service contracts, NDAs, and licensing documents.
- Advise on corporate structuring, M&A, and regulatory compliance matters.
- Support fintech, crypto, and digital asset-related projects.
- Collaborate with founders, consultants, and external counsel to provide practical legal advice.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments in fintech and digital sectors.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and process improvement initiatives.
Eligibility
- LL.B or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Admitted to practice law in Malaysia.
- 5–7 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, either in private practice or in-house.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
