SD Partners is hiring for the position of Corporate Commercial Lawyer with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including service agreements, licensing agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Legal Advisory: Provide sound legal advice to business stakeholders on commercial law matters and risk mitigation.
- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Compliance Support: Assist with compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Corporate Governance: Support the preparation of board-related documentation and corporate governance matters.
- Legal Research: Analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, actionable guidance to internal clients.
- External Counsel Coordination: Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary for specific matters.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: 3–5 years in corporate and commercial law.
- Bar Registration: Must be registered with the State Bar Council.
- Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, Contract Act, and Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
