Details of the Job/Internship

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is hiring for the position of Corporate Contract Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join their office in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including:
  • Vendor, supply, and sales agreements
  • NDAs and licensing contracts
  • Distribution, employment, and cross-border service agreements.
• Advise senior leadership on legal risks, strategic transactions, and compliance matters.
• Manage corporate legal documentation and records across India and international jurisdictions.
• Support governance activities such as board meetings, shareholder meetings, and regulatory filings.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in India and globally; update internal policies accordingly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, HR, operations, and sales teams to align contract strategies with business objectives.
• Oversee full contract lifecycle management—renewals, terminations, tracking obligations, and evaluating performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with Indian laws (Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA) and assist with U.S. and international legal frameworks as needed.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized law school in India or abroad.
• Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate legal or contracts management, ideally with multinational exposure.
• Strong expertise in Indian and U.S. corporate and commercial laws.
• Proven ability to independently draft and negotiate complex legal documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced, global work environment.
