Details of the Job/Internship

Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT) is hiring for the position of Corporate Councel with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including:
  • Sales agreements
  • Service contracts
  • Distribution and agency agreements
  • Software licensing
  • Consulting and marketing agreements
  • Statements of work and amendments
• Independently manage multiple matters under tight deadlines while effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global Legal team members on strategic projects and initiatives aligned with corporate objectives and legal risk management.
• Contribute to the enhancement of legal operations by developing and maintaining standard templates, playbooks, and internal training resources.
• Support the management of litigation matters and compliance risks arising from day-to-day business activities.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to business units while safeguarding the company’s interests.

Eligibility

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); Master’s degree (LL.M.) is a plus.
• Must be qualified and registered with the Bar Council of India.

Experience:

• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) from an international law firm or in-house legal department of a multinational corporation.
• Exposure to the life sciences, materials, or food science sectors is advantageous, but not essential.

Salary/Stipend
