Details of the Job/Internship

Franklin Templeton India is hiring a Corporate Counsel with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across securities, corporate, and business law matters.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate fund and investment-related legal documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Investments, Product, Finance, and HR.
• Conduct legal research on national and international securities and corporate laws.
• Stay updated with evolving legal frameworks relevant to the business.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university.
• Member of the Bar Council of India.
• Company Secretary qualification is an added advantage.
• At least 8 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Salary/Stipend

Salary details will be finalised during the interview process with the selected candidate.
