Details of the Job/Internship
CleverTap is hiring a Corporate Counsel with experience of 4–7 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and perform first reviews of commercial contracts, including MSAs, software subscription agreements, and NDAs.
- Collaborate across functions to close transactions and resolve legal matters efficiently.
- Negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) to ensure privacy law compliance.
- Maintain and update product release checklists, legal playbooks, and internal processes.
- Assist in the standardization of legal documentation across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on global developments and statutory compliances.
Eligibility
- LLB degree with 4–7 years of experience, preferably in the SaaS, IT, or ITES sectors.
- Demonstrable experience in contract drafting, review, and complex negotiation.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to provide effective, solution-oriented legal advice.
- Ability to operate independently and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
