Details of the Job/Internship

GoDaddy is hiring a Corporate Counsel – Employment with 7+ years of experience to join its office in Gurugram. The role involves advising on employment matters, handling employment litigation, managing outside counsel, and providing guidance to the People Operations and business teams on employment law and compliance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on all People Operations functions from pre-employment to post-employment.
• Manage employment matters including internal investigations, employee relations, and compliance issues.
• Draft, negotiate, and implement employment-related policies, procedures, and agreements.
• Advise on employment training, benefits, payroll, immigration, and related issues.
• Support the litigation team and manage outside counsel.
• Conduct and analyze internal investigations and prepare reports.
• Provide proactive advice on global labor and employment law matters.
• Support complex and sensitive employment-related projects as assigned.

Eligibility

• LL.B. required; LL.M. preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in advising or litigating employment law matters.
• Strong knowledge of international employment laws, especially in India.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business insight and ability to prioritize based on organizational risk.
• Experience with or openness to using AI tools.
• Strong decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.

Salary/Stipend
