Details of the Job/Internship
Amazon is hiring a Corporate Counsel with 8–14 years of experience to oversee legal compliance for its healthcare initiatives and technology operations in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead compliance for teleconsultation, pharmacy, and diagnostics services.
- Ensure alignment with the medical council and telemedicine regulations.
- Handle drug license requirements and NABL accreditation.
- Structure legal strategies for new healthcare launches.
- Manage compliance with technology supply chain tools.
- Review contracts and ensure the independence of third-party tech tool providers.
- Adapt global legal policies to Indian operations.
- Provide legal support to senior business leaders.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; Bar admission required.
- 8–14 years of legal experience in healthcare and/or technology sectors.
- Strong background in regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, and policy engagement.
- Proven experience managing stakeholder expectations.
- Prior experience in e-commerce or healthcare technology preferred.
- Company Secretary qualification is desirable.
