Details of the Job/Internship
Infosys is hiring for the position of Corporate Counsel - Legal Compliance to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing compliance program including drafting of policies and processes, defining and implementation of system controls and monitoring the program for continual improvements.
- Identifies and reviews risks and issues; leads and ensures compliance monitoring plan including bringing to management attention. Informs leadership of emerging risks and proposes proactive mitigation plans to address risk.
- Conceptualization, development, and implementation of third-party risk management program.
- Development including third-party due diligence.
- Conduct or oversee compliance training and education, including formal training sessions to informal one-on-one instructions, internal compliance related mailers.
- Perform intra-departmental interviews with key stakeholders involved in high-risk processes to verify compliance with established processes and applicable legislations.
- Implement and manage subsidiary compliance program.
- Policy drafting and administration of Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Eligibility
- Understanding, and interpretation of compliance policies and providing advisory on regulatory matters.
- Articulation and crisp communication is important with clarity of thought.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and ask probing questions to seek clarity. Think critically and attention to detail.
- Ability to simplify complex problems.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Independent project management.
- Proficient in MS Office and other related compliance software.
- Knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards including Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Trade Controls, and Immigration laws.
- Drive change and transformative initiatives with minimal supervision.
