Infosys is hiring a Corporate Counsel for its Legal Contracts Team (EMEA) with experience of 8–13 years to join its office in Trivandrum. The role involves handling complex commercial IT contracts governed by Dutch and other European laws, supporting proposals and negotiations across Europe, advising on legal and commercial risks, and acting as an interface between regional offices and global headquarters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts, including IT outsourcing, IT service, alliance, subcontracting, and license agreements.
• Review proposals and RFPs, assist in preparing proposals, and support responses to RFPs.
• Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across BeNeLux and continental Europe, ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk mitigation requirements.
• Analyse legal and commercial risk issues and provide clear recommendations to business teams and senior management.
• Create standard contract forms, including translation and adaptation to local laws.
• Provide legal advisory support on corporate compliance matters and act as a local interface to the global legal team.
• Track laws and regulations relevant to the company’s business and policies.
• Share knowledge on local laws and business trends within the global Infosys legal community.

Eligibility

• LLB or equivalent law background.
• LLM is preferred.
• 8–13 years of relevant experience in handling high-value and complex transactions.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Preferred knowledge of common law principles and European laws.
• Basic knowledge of litigation is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
