Details of the Job/Internship

Jacobs is hiring a Corporate Counsel – Legal with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Gurgaon. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of construction and services contracts from bid stage to negotiation and completion.
• Draft and negotiate client contracts, joint venture agreements, guarantees, sub-contracts, and confidentiality agreements.
• Manage task orders under existing frameworks and assess deviations from standard terms.
• Support contract management and assist in drafting letters such as exclusivity and sub-consultant agreements.
• Collaborate with the US legal team and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong academic background and experience in a law firm or reputed in-house team.
• Preferable experience in infrastructure, engineering, or construction services sector.
• Ability to assess risk, strong commercial awareness, and effective communication skills.
• Preferred (not mandatory): knowledge of U.S. public procurement, design-build programs, joint ventures, insurance types, bid protests, and contract data management.
