Wipro is hiring a Corporate Counsel – Senior Manager to join their office in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for setting and achieving team goals with autonomy within the defined scope of work. The role ensures efficient utilisation of human, financial, and physical resources in alignment with organisational initiatives. It involves proactively identifying potential issues, risks, and operational improvements, overseeing complex projects and processes, driving operational excellence, and identifying opportunities for innovation. The role typically includes managing a team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leading the execution of functional projects and processes that may impact multiple teams or business units.
• Formulating operational strategies and administering policies and resources with significant autonomy.
• Taking ownership of governance across work areas to ensure accountability and alignment with organisational goals.
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Addressing and resolving issues involving large processes or groups of sub-processes.
• Proactively handling escalations and resolving problems.
• Collaborating with other teams and leadership to deliver results.
• Overseeing and coordinating team efforts to meet organisational goals while ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Developing execution strategies for projects linked to the strategic goals of the function.
• Coaching and mentoring team members to build a strong team.
• Establishing oneself as an internal expert in the specific area of work.
