BCD Travel is hiring a Legal Counsel / Commercial Contracts Lawyer for a full-time role based in Bangalore, India, with remote working options.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including client, supplier, technology, and multinational agreements.
- Provide legal advice on sales, contracting activities, regulatory risks, and business strategy.
- Advise on data privacy, data security, approval processes, and internal policies.
- Communicate contractual obligations to commercial teams through trainings and presentations.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.
- Maintain and update template agreements for supported regions.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in an international law firm or multinational in-house legal team.
- Experience drafting and negotiating multinational commercial contracts, particularly client sales or service agreements.
- Customer-focused approach with practical legal problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage with senior leadership and provide pragmatic risk assessments.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
