Details of the Job/Internship
Infosys is hiring a Corporate Counsel – Legal with 8–14 years of experience in legal and compliance roles to join its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor risk and compliance issues and implement mitigation/remediation solutions.
- Review and draft policies, guidance notes, and SOPs related to regulatory compliance.
- Advise on compliance with data protection and privacy laws, including EU GDPR, incident management, and record retention.
- Support cybersecurity compliance and risk management, including regulatory disclosures and incident response.
- Advise on compliance with immigration laws across EU, APAC, and MEA regions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on audits and project management.
- Independently solve moderately complex compliance issues.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM degree with relevant experience as compliance counsel, preferably in MNCs.
- Knowledge of regulations related to Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Immigration.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
- 8–14 years of overall work experience.
