Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel / Corporate Counsel / Senior Corporate Counsel with 9–15 years of experience to join their offices in Trivandrum or Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts including outsourcing, service, alliance, subcontracting, and license agreements.
• Review proposals and RFPs and assist in preparing responses.
• Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across Europe.
• Ensure compliance with internal contracting and risk management policies.
• Analyse legal and commercial risks and provide recommendations to management.
• Act as an interface between local offices and global headquarters.
• Create and standardise contract templates and adapt them to local laws.
• Provide legal advisory on corporate compliance matters.
• Track relevant laws and regulations affecting the business.
• Share legal knowledge and best practices within the global legal team.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or equivalent law degree.
• 9–15 years of experience in handling complex, high-value transactions.
• Strong expertise in IT contracts and commercial legal matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of common law and European laws preferred.
• LL.M. or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel within Europe on short notice.
• Basic knowledge of litigation preferred.

Salary/Stipend
