Details of the Job/Internship
Lucio is hiring a Corporate Counsel with 4–5 years of experience to join its office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Partner with business, finance, and operations teams to align contracts with commercial objectives and risk appetite.
- Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
- Manage contract lifecycle processes including redlining, summaries, templates, and clause libraries.
- Ensure contracts align with internal policies and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with external counsel for specialised matters when required.
Eligibility
- 4–5 years of experience in corporate/commercial law (law firm or in-house).
- Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Sound understanding of commercial terms including pricing, liability, IP, confidentiality, termination, and dispute resolution.
- LLB degree required.
- Exposure to tech/SaaS or similar sectors preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience building templates or contract playbooks preferred but not mandatory.
