Details of the Job/Internship
Mercor is hiring a Lawyer for Legal AI Dataset Projects on a contractual basis for a duration of 3 months. The position is remote with a weekly commitment of 10–20 hours. The selected candidate will be responsible for labeling and organizing legal and financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project guidelines.
Role and Responsibilities
- Label and organize shared legal and financial documents based on project guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of all compiled materials.
- Follow structured documentation processes to meet defined quality standards.
- Verify sources and ensure all data is obtained from public, verifiable platforms.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet all deadlines.
Eligibility
- Last year of law school.
- 3+ years of active practicing experience in the USA.
- Familiarity with U.S. legal and regulatory document sources.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
