Details of the Job/Internship
Porch Group is hiring a Corporate Counsel with 5–8 years of experience to join their U.S.-based public companies' team in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and redline complex commercial agreements with high precision.
- Conduct in-depth legal research using standard U.S. legal tools.
- Manage and prioritize multiple legal matters independently.
- Explain complex legal concepts and issues to senior leadership and non-legal stakeholders.
- Collaborate remotely with global teams across various time zones.
- Utilize legal technology, including CLM and document management systems, to track projects.
- Ensure informed decision-making at the executive level through effective communication.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputable, accredited college or university.
- 5–8 years of combined law firm and/or in-house experience.
- Proven experience supporting multi-national, U.S.-based organizations.
- High proficiency with U.S. legal research tools.
- Experience working with U.S., UK, or global legal teams is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail.
