Details of the Job/Internship
SolarWinds is hiring a Corporate Counsel with experience of 3 to 5 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide proactive counsel on a broad range of legal matters, particularly related to commercial transactions involving the company's software and cloud services.
- Facilitate and streamline communication between relevant affected areas within the Company on a global basis including sales,finance, product, and information security.
- Conduct initial review of and prepare propose drevisions/redlines to a wide variety of commercial and technology agreements,including a heavy volume of software licenses, subscription and SaaS agreements,confidentiality agreements, and partner-related agreements.
- Assist the procurement team in the review of vendor agreements that are escalated to legal.
- Assist in developing training materials, and advise and educate sales teams and otherinternal stake holders on legal processes, and provide on going guidance and coordination throughout a contract lifecycle.
Eligibility
- Admitted to and in good standing with the All India Bar.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in afast-paced, in-house legal department for a software/technology company.
- Adept at translating legal advice into actionable guidance.
- A flexible, open-minded thinker with the desire to prioritize internal client needs.
- Confident in suggesting sound decisions fo rimplementation.
